Daniel Laryea Only Ghanaian Referee Selected For AFCON 2019

CAF and FIFA Referee Daniel Laryea has been selected as the only Ghanaian official for the upcoming AFCON 2019 to be hosted in Egypt.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Wednesday publised the full list of the referees and match officials to officiate at the competition, and the Ghanaian referee was included.

The competition which starts from 21st June to 19th July will see Referee Laryea who has a FIFA badge as one of the the center referees to for the competition.

He was among the referees selected for the 2017 African Youth Championship in Gabon and the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations hosted by Ghana in September and was selected for the CHAN tournament in Morocco last year.

Al selected referees will travel to Morocco to begin preparations ahead of the continental showpiece.
