Defender Samuel Sarfo Scores 5th Goal In Khaleej Home Loss

on

Ghanaian international Samuel Sarfo scored his 5th goal this season in Al Khaleej’s 2-3 home loss to Najran this evening in the Saudi League.

The former Liberty Professionals captain who has become an integral part of the team was named in the starting XI marshalling the defence with precision.

The home side Khaleej FC grabbed the opener in the 4th  minute through Aldosari, but the visitors clawed their way back into the game 6 minutes after with the equaliser.

With a minute to end the first half, the former Liberty Professionals and FC Saipa defender, Sarfo headed home the 2nd goal to end the first half 2-1.

The visitors scored yet another equalizer in the 70th minute and with ten minutes to end the game, Sarfo was controversially sent off.

His absence from the Khaleej defense saw Najran FC grab the match-winner in the 88th minute of the game.

Sarfo has now taken his goal tally to 5 out of 8 games played this season.

Very impressive for a defender as he continues his explosive start to his new club Al Khaleej.
