Exceptional Selorm Geraldo Assists Goal In Don Bosco 2-1 Away Loss To Pembe

Ghanaian international Selorm Geraldo stole the headlines this afternoon despite Don Bosco’s 2-1 away loss to Moteme Pembe in the DR Congo League this afternoon.

A very integral part of the Don Bosco side, Selorm, as usual, was named in the starting XI of Don Bosco and he was a delight to watch and almost broke the deadlock in the 18th minute when his goalbound shot was parried over the crossbar for a corner kick.

He again rattled the crossbar in the 55th minute from 35 yards out but the Don Bosco goalkeeper was on hand to save on the rebound.

Despite his superlative showing on the day, Don Bosco lost the game 2-1 under some bizarre circumstances with one of their players being shown the red card in the second half.

Selorm Geraldo was on hand to assist Don Bosco’s only goal of the game which later turned out to be a consolation.

The player in a chat with this website mentioned that though it was a heartbreaking loss, he was happy with the performance of the entire team.

“It was a great game, one that we played very well, but unfortunately we lost 2-1. I am particularly happy with my assist of the goal today and we are looking forward to our next game on Thursday.”
