Hearts Of Oak To Sack 16 Players Ahead Of Next Season


Information reaching the desk of www.ghanasoccernews.com has it that Accra Hearts of Oak have tabled 16 players who they are going to sack ahead of the upcoming 2016/17 football season.

According to sources close to the Club, the technical team, leb by Yaw Preko and Nassam Yakubu, on Wednesday, presented the list of 16 players to the Board and Management for what is termed ‘end of season playing body restructuring’.

Though no names were mentioned by our sources, www.ghanasoccernews.com managed to chance on the list which is waiting for approval on Monday.

The technical team, according to our sources was told to reexamine the list and come back on Monday to justify it, after which letters will be given to the affected players.

Some of the names in the list include Selasie Adjei, Foovi Aguidi, Isaac Baadu, Owusu Bempah, Fatau Mohammed among others.

The Phobians placed 3rd on the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League log.
