MSK Zilina Africa Goalkeeper Bernard Osa Nai Targets Semi Final Spot

Goalkeeper of division 2 side MSK Zilina Africa FC, Bernard Osa Nai is looking to pick the final remaining ticket of the 2019 Greater Accra Regional Football Association Special Competition.

The young budding goalkeeper has been one of the brightest spots in the ongoing competition which saw over 20 Clubs participating within the Greater Accra region.

Until last Saturday, when they lost 4-2 to Attram De-Visser FC in the Round of 6, MSK Zilina Africa FC had won all their respective games and was looking to make it into the semifinal.

However, there is another chance for the young lad and his team to make it into the semis as they will engage in a playoff on Wednesday alongside two other teams to determine who joins the other three (Attram De-Visser FC, Adenta United and Charity Stars).

“We still have a chance to get into the semifinals. On Wednesday all the three teams that lost in Saturday’s Round of 6 will play among themselves to pick one team that will join the rest,” Bernard Osa Nai mentioned in an interview with this website.

“I believe that this a chance we can’t afford to miss as a Club and we are hoping for a good day, plus good officiating and hopefully, we should be able to grab the only remaining ticket for the semifinals”, he added.

MSK Zilina Africa FC will battle Tema United and Final Whistle FC for the sole remaining ticket.

The Greater Accra Regional Football Association Special Competition is the brainchild of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, one that is aimed at keeping the Clubs under its tutelage busy despite the neglect from the Normalisation Committee who organized a similar competition for the Premier League and Division One Clubs.
