On Fire Selorm Geraldo Scores Winning Goal In Don Bosco 1-0 Win Over Balende

Ghanaian international Selorm Geraldo was the toast of the Don Bosco fans this afternoon as his goal helped his side pick all three points against a stubborn Sanga Belende in the DR Congo Premier League.

The midfielder, as usual, was named in the starting lineup of the Bosco who was desperately in search of a win to move up the league log.

The former Liberty Professionals player had a relatively good game hitting the crossbar twice in succession in the 14th and 36th minutes after fighting off some stiff challenges from his markers.

It was a day where both teams sold a good game to the fans, but what was missing, aside from the swift inter-positional play, skill, and pace, was a goal.

His eye for goal all afternoon and desire to drive the team forward resulted in a goal in the 17th minute as he scored from close range to give the teeming Don Bosco home fans something to cheer about.

It was his second for the Club having assisted in a couple of goals in the first round, an action the player stressed will continue.

“One of the things I wish to add to my game is goals. And I am happy that today I scored and it turned out to be the match-winner. We are looking to better our results in this second round to make sure that we keep tabs with the top four teams”, he added.
