Sellas Tetteh Appointed Head Coach Of Tamale City FC

Coach Sellas Tetteh has been appointed the head coach of division One side Tamale City FC.

The former Liberty Professionals technical Director and head coach of the Black Satellites, was unveiled last Monday after signing an initial one year deal wghich sees him as the helm of affairs for the Club in the coming Division One League.

As part of his engagement, the former Liberty Professionals and Black Satellites technical head is expected to qualify the club for the Premier League on his first attempt, a requirement the coach describes as challenging but surmountable.

While either party would not divulge the details of the Tamale City contract, Borbor said he was happy with the new job as it provided fresh challenges for him.

“I think for now I’d plead for time to settle in the new role and get started, then we can talk about it (figures) later,” he insisted.

Last Monday, Tetteh went to Tamale to sign the contract after agreeing terms with TCFC, which has Jones Alhassan-Abu as the Chief Executive Officer and former GFA Chairman, Lepowura Alhaji M.N.D Jawula, as the president.
