Vincent Atingah Named In Team Of The Week In Kuwaiti League

For his sterling performance for his club Al Shabab Ghanaian international Vincent Atingah has been named in the Kuwaiti Premier League team of the week (10).

The former Hearts of Oak defender has been in great form all season manning the defense of Al Shabab with apt and precision.

A very integral part of the team, he was named team’s starting XI against Al Salmiya in their match day 10 fixture and though they lost the game 2-1 Atingah’s great outlining and excellent performance earned him a place in the team of the week.

This is the second time the Ghanaian international has featured and lost to Al Salmiya in the league, with the first coming in September 2019 a home game they lost 5-3.

Atingah’s performance in recent times has raised several taking points among fans of the Club as to why he has been overlooked for a call up to the senior men’s team, Black Stars.
